Wolfpaw is a small kennel that was established in 1997 when I purchased my first Alaskan Malamute from Bob and Anne Metzler of Sagamook Kennels in Bathurst, New Brunswick. I am located in Saint John, New Brunswick - Canada. We are situated down by the beautiful Bay of Fundy, home to the worlds highest tides.

My love for the Northern Breeds started with my 2 Siberian Huskies - Nikki and Noah. When I purchased my first Alaskan Malamute and my first show dog, I had no idea that my love for this magnificent breed would grow the way that it did. I had no intensions of ever breeding but the more shows that I attended the more my love for this *MAGNIFICENT* breed grew and grow it did.

After 2 years, I decided that it was time for another Malamute in my life, I purchased my first female Alaskan Malamute named Jayde from Michelle Therrien of Shelaskan Kennels in Moonstone, Ontario. Since that time I have aquired 2 more females my third Alaskan Malamute and second female named Illa, came to us from Maureen Andersen of Keikewabic Kennels in Dryden, Ontario. My fourth Alaskan Malamute and third female named Panda also came from Michelle Therrien of Shelaskan Kennels.

Since I wish to remain a small kennel, I will only be doing the occasional select breeding to ensure QUALITY and not QUANTITY. All my breeding stock is certified clear for Hip Dysplasia, Eyes are CERF'ed annually , Brucellosis, and they are certified clear of Chrondrodysplasia (An inherited bone distortion which occurs in the Alaskan Malamute) with the Alaskan Malamute Club of America certification committee.

FAVORITE THINGS:

I enjoy showing my dogs in both Conformation & Obedience, and taking them for walks at the local Nature Park and for a swim at our local Lake.

I also enjoy just spending time with all my dogs relaxing and having fun just clowning around with them. They are the most important part of my life and their health and well being is of upmost importance to me.

All of us look forward to winter and the snow falling, then we really have fun. Winter is our favorite time of the year although most people don't agree with that, we love it and look forward to it each year.

Thank You for stopping by my site and taking time to browse through it. Feel free to stop by anytime and have a peek. I will constantly be updating my site with pictures of my dogs. Please check back periodically for updates.

IMO Alaskan Malamutes are the greatest dogs in the world, but as with any other breed of dog they aren't for everyone. Please do your research on this breed before you bring a Malamute puppy into your lives. Talk with breeders, go to local dog shows, go to the library, and don't hesitate to ask questions, a responsible breeder should be able to answer all your questions honestly and without hesitation!
